We’re seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for locum tenens coverage at an ambulatory surgery center in Hanover, PA. This is a clinical-only assignment running August 3, 2026 through March 31, 2027, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (5x8s).

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver full-spectrum anesthesia care in an ASC setting for pediatric and adult patients.
• Manage patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Provide general and regional anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia, and sedation for endoscopy.
• Work closely with surgeons, OR staff, and the anesthesia team to coordinate cases and maintain high-quality outcomes.

Typical day and case mix

• Expect 6–15 cases per day across four ORs.
• Common procedures include orthopedics, GYN, ENT, endoscopy, dental, and general surgery.
• You’ll be supported by standard ASC anesthesia equipment and OR/surgical teams; anesthesia specialty backup is available (1:3 medical direction).

Credentials, compliance, and logistics

• Active PA nursing license required; NBCRNA certification required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Hospital privileges are required; expedited temporary privileges are available. Standard credentialing takes about 90 days (expedited option offered).
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided. Pay rate: TBD.

Preferred experience and schedule

• ASC experience and comfort with orthopedic cases are preferred.
• Must be able to commit to the full-time schedule for the coverage period.
