What you’ll bring

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST or equivalent as required)
• Experience with L&D or obstetric surgery is preferred
• Solid knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Clear communication, strong organization, and a team-oriented attitude

What you’ll do

• Set up operating rooms and maintain sterile fields for L&D procedures
• Assist during cesarean sections and other obstetric surgeries, anticipating surgeon needs and passing instruments, sponges, and supplies
• Perform and document surgical counts before, during, and after cases
• Maintain strict infection control and sterile technique throughout procedures
• Clean, restock, and prepare rooms between cases
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, and anesthesia staff to ensure smooth case flow
• Help with patient positioning and transport as needed
