Join a patient-focused team in Bozeman, MT as a contract Surgical Technologist supporting Labor & Delivery. This role starts ASAP and offers $2,052 for a 36-hour assignment.
What you’ll bring
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST or equivalent as required)
- Experience with L&D or obstetric surgery is preferred
- Solid knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
- Clear communication, strong organization, and a team-oriented attitude
What you’ll do
- Set up operating rooms and maintain sterile fields for L&D procedures
- Assist during cesarean sections and other obstetric surgeries, anticipating surgeon needs and passing instruments, sponges, and supplies
- Perform and document surgical counts before, during, and after cases
- Maintain strict infection control and sterile technique throughout procedures
- Clean, restock, and prepare rooms between cases
- Work closely with nurses, physicians, and anesthesia staff to ensure smooth case flow
- Help with patient positioning and transport as needed
