Job Description
We’re looking for a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Bangor, ME team as the Lead Provider. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced APP who loves clinically focused work, enjoys mentoring others, and thrives in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
You’ll be the clinical lead at the site, responsible for delivering excellent, patient-centered urgent care to all ages while supporting and developing the clinical team. Day-to-day you’ll balance patient care with coaching new graduates, promoting evidence-based practice, and ensuring our clinic runs safely and efficiently.
What you’ll do
- Provide comprehensive urgent care services to patients across the lifespan
- Serve as the clinical leader for on-site clinical staff
- Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and allied health professionals
- Promote and model evidence-based practice and high clinical standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical protocols and safety practices
What we’re looking for
- Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
- Certification by a recognized NP or PA certifying body
- Active Maine license, or eligibility for licensure in Maine
- Unrestricted DEA license (must obtain and maintain)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus

- $80.00 – $85.00 per hour
