Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — 13-Week Contract in Manahawkin, NJ | Competitive Pay & Full-Time Weekdays

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a team in Manahawkin (Stafford Township), NJ for a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This is a Monday–Friday position, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Travel pay rate: $1,876/35 hours; Local rate: $1,848/35 hours.

What you’ll bring:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included)

What you’ll do:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive strengths, limitations, and environments to identify needs and set meaningful, achievable goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary care team
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients improve daily living skills and increase independence
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Teach and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) to build functional skills
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to promote independence
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and changing needs
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, person-centered care
• Maintain clear, accurate records including evaluations, treatment notes, and outcomes
• Support patients’ transitions back to community and work roles
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
