Contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Nights, Concord NH (14-week)

Join our team in Concord, NH as a Licensed Practical Nurse on a 14‑week contract (non‑travel). Start ASAP. Evenings/Nights: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Local rate: $1,274 / 36 hours.

Requirements:

• Active, valid LPN license for the state of New Hampshire
• BLS certification

Core responsibilities:

• Provide direct bedside nursing under RN/physician guidance, including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and vital sign monitoring.
• Conduct focused assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Administer and monitor prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring correct dosing and documentation.
• Assess, clean, dress, and monitor wounds and surgical sites for signs of infection or complications.
• Obtain and process specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records detailing condition changes, interventions, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self‑care, preventive care, and wellness measures.
• Support patient comfort and safety—assist with positioning, mobility, pain management, and activities of daily living.
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support per protocol.
• Follow strict infection control practices and proper handling, storage, and disposal of medications and supplies.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care; may supervise CNAs or UAPs as assigned.
• Stay current with nursing standards and participate in required training.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
