Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — Laconia, NH | 13-Week Contract, Competitive Pay

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a team in Laconia, NH on a 13-week contract (ASAP start). This is a weekday position—Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation is competitive: Travel rate $1,754/35 hours; Local rate $1,726/35 hours.

What you’ll be doing

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and evaluate their environments to identify limitations and set meaningful goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the rest of the care team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients regain or improve daily living skills and independence.
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Provide hands-on instruction and practice for activities of daily living.
• Educate patients and families about condition management and strategies to promote independence.
• Monitor and document progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records, including evaluations, treatment notes, and progress documentation.
• Support patients’ safe transitions back to their homes, communities, and workplaces.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required qualifications

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy license for the state.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).
