Travel Clinical Educator RN Operating Room (Hermiston, OR)

Shift: Days — Rate: $2,686 / 36 hours

Required credentials and experience:

• Current RN license (Oregon)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; MSN preferred
• Certifications: BLS (HCP), ACLS, PALS, CNOR
• Minimum 5 years hospital nursing experience
• Minimum 3 years operating room (OR) experience
• Experience in education, course development, or simulation preferred
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, EHR systems)
• Excellent communication, organization, and teaching skills

Core responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate clinical education and training for hospital staff, in collaboration with department leaders
• Create and revise curricula, training materials, and simulation scenarios using mannequins and simulation software
• Serve as a clinical education resource and mentor for staff across departments
• Assess learning outcomes and adjust programs to meet competency and performance goals
• Support regulatory and accreditation education requirements (DNV and others)
• Partner with Quality Management on performance improvement initiatives and assist with Quality Department activities as assigned
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and alignment with the hospital mission
