Join a contract travel team in Juneau, AK, providing urgent care nursing on a day shift (8:00 AM–8:00 PM). This role begins ASAP and offers $2,941 per 36-hour week.
What you’ll do:
- Triage patients and perform focused assessments, including vital signs and symptom evaluation
- Provide nursing care for acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Assist providers with procedures and treatments and administer medications/injections per orders
- Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
What we’re looking for:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Urgent Care, ER, or acute care experience preferred
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Strong assessment, triage, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
