Requirements

• Active RN license in practicing state
• Perioperative/surgical nursing experience preferred
• BLS required; CNOR or other perioperative certifications preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and OR environment for surgical procedures
• Circulate during cases: monitor patient status, assist the surgical team, maintain sterile field
• Administer medications per protocol and escalate changes in patient condition
• Accurately document care, surgical events, and patient outcomes
• Provide pre- and post-operative education to patients and families
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff
