Travel RN Labor & Delivery (Opelousas, LA)

Join a contract Labor & Delivery team in Opelousas, LA. This daytime position (7a–7p) starts ASAP and offers $1,804 per 36-hour week.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Prior obstetrics or labor & delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Provide hands-on support for labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
• Administer prescribed medications and interventions safely.
• Educate and emotionally support patients and families on childbirth and newborn care.
• Accurately document care and relay patient status to the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and other clinical staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.
