- Opportunity for focused surgical coverage with supportive staff
**Assignment Details**
- Coverage type: 24hr beeper call
- Start date: July 15, 2026
- End date: July 30, 2026
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Patients per shift: 4–5
- Admissions required: No
- Rounding: As needed
- EMR: Epic
**Clinical Details**
- General surgery call coverage
- Laparoscopic procedures including hernia repairs required
- Level IV trauma facility
- Minimal procedural volume with consults and call responsibilities
- Support includes nursing staff and hospital resources
- Housing available within walking distance of facility
**Requirements**
- Active Alaska license required
- Active Alaska DEA required prior to start
- Board certified required
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS required
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
