Locum Tenens Urologist — Inpatient Call Coverage (Tacoma, WA)

We’re seeking a locum tenens urologist to provide supplemental inpatient coverage in Tacoma, WA. Coverage begins June 1 and will continue on an ongoing basis across several scheduled blocks. You’ll be covering call-only shifts (24-hour beeper call) with a required response time of under 30 minutes; weekday callback rate is 7%. Typical patient volume is 6–8 per shift, and you’ll be joining a service with two attending physicians and robust support from 5 RNs, 2 MAs, and 3 APPs. You’ll be credentialed at three facilities, and Epic is the EMR.

• Jun 23–Jul 8
• Aug 5–17
• Aug 31–Sep 11
• Oct 23–Nov 6
• Nov 13–16
• Nov 24–Dec 2
• Dec 12–Jan 1

Clinical mix and procedures:

• Cystoscopy, lithotripsy
• Nephrectomy, transurethral resection
• Prostatectomy, pyelolithotomy
