Job Description
We are seeking a Urologist to provide locum tenens coverage for an established urology practice in Florida. This assignment is designed to support a provider on FMLA leave and offers a well-structured schedule with strong clinical support.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 90 days – 6 months
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with Tuesday designated as a surgical day
- Procedures: Full scope of general urology procedures
- EMR Systems: Athena (clinic) and Cerner (hospital)
Practice Setting:
- Outpatient clinic with hospital affiliation (hospital located ~8 miles away)
- Support staff includes LPNs and Medical Assistants
- No additional specialties onsite
- Bi-weekly call rotation including weekend coverage
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Urology
- Active Florida license (or ability to obtain)
