Travel RN Medical-Surgical (DeRidder, LA) 7a-7p Contract

Join a contract/travel medical-surgical team in DeRidder, LA. This daytime assignment starts ASAP and follows a 7a–7p schedule (36 hours/week). Compensation: $1,901 per 36-hour period.

What you’ll do:

• Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient status.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions.
• Accurately document care and promptly communicate changes to the care team.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Medical-surgical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred depending on patient population.
