Overview:
Seeking a PACU-competent Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, manage pain and complications, and coordinate safe discharge.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in practicing state
• PACU, post-anesthesia, or perioperative nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor vital signs, airway, level of consciousness, and overall patient status in the immediate post-procedure period
• Administer medications and pain management interventions as prescribed
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition or postoperative complications
• Provide patient and family education on post-procedure care and discharge instructions
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Communicate and collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
