Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Extensive cardiac nursing experience
• Experience in Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke/Neuro, and Step-Down ICU settings
• Current BLS (CPR) and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders, facility policies, and state regulations
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with standards
• Develop individualized care plans and provide patient/family education
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes; participate in performance improvement activities
