Join a compassionate hospice team in Missoula, MT, on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This daytime position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a 40-hour week and a pay rate of $2,196/40-hours.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and closely monitor patient status, focusing on pain and symptom management.
  • Administer medications and interventions to maintain comfort and dignity for patients.
  • Explain hospice services, disease progression, and end-of-life planning to patients and their families in a clear, supportive way.
  • Keep accurate, timely documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to coordinate care.
  • Offer emotional and psychosocial support to patients and loved ones during difficult moments.

What we’re looking for:

  • Active RN license in the practicing state.
  • Experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life nursing is preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate bedside manner.
  • BLS certification required; hospice or palliative care certifications are a plus.
