Remote Locum PMHNP (Peds/Adol) — $120/hr, Flexible 1099, Fully Remote, PMHNP-BC

We’re hiring a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a fully remote locum tenens role serving children, adolescents, and young adults. You’ll deliver evidence-based psychiatric care in a virtual, team-oriented setting—ideal if you value autonomy, flexibility, and making a real difference.

What you’ll do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments via telehealth
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions in pediatric and young adult patients (ages 2+)
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Educate patients and families as needed
• Keep clear, timely documentation in the EHR
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues to ensure coordinated care

Schedule

• 1099 contract with a minimum of 10 hours per week
• Must be available during peak demand: after 3:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or flexible weekend availability

Who we’re looking for

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program
• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey PMHNP/CRNP/APN license
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority
• At least 2 years of independent psychiatric practice since initial licensure
• Demonstrated experience treating pediatric populations (ages 2+)
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms, EHRs, and other digital tools
• Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet
