Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) — 13-Week Contract in Winchester, NH

Join a contract/travel team in Winchester, NH as a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment beginning ASAP. This full-time role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel rate $1,432/35 hrs; Local rate $1,411/35 hrs.

Required:

• Current, active state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Physical Therapist in patient evaluations by collecting medical histories, measuring progress, and assisting with goal setting.
• Implement prescribed interventions, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Operate therapeutic equipment safely and according to protocol.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in exercise techniques and home programs to promote recovery and long-term function.
• Accurately document treatments, responses, and progress in patient records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and refine treatment plans.
• Maintain safety and infection-control standards in the therapy environment.
• Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients throughout rehabilitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
