Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) — Seaford, DE (14-Week Travel Assignment)

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a team in Seaford, DE for a 14-week contract starting ASAP. You’ll work a regular daytime schedule (08:00 AM–04:30 PM) helping patients regain independence and return to meaningful daily activities. Compensation is: Travel: $1,876/35-hours; Local: $1,848/35-hours.

What we need from you

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll be doing

• Evaluate patients’ physical and cognitive abilities as well as their home or work environments to spot limitations and set realistic goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills and boost independence.
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and practice everyday tasks with patients to reinforce skills.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to maintain independence.
• Monitor and document progress regularly, adjusting plans as needed.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Keep accurate records, including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge plans.
• Support patients’ transitions back to their communities and workplaces.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
