Required:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license

Overview:
Provide supervised occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, treat, and progress patients toward functional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
• Collaborate on and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Instruct patients in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Document patient status, interventions, progress, and any changes in condition accurately and timely.
• Train and educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies.
• Communicate and coordinate care with the Occupational Therapist and multidisciplinary team.
• Follow safety, infection control, and facility protocols.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
