Shift/Hours: 36 hours/week
Rate: $2,308 / 36 hours
Role overview:
Registered Nurse with med-surg, telemetry, or progressive care experience to provide direct patient care on acute care/PCU/telemetry units.
Required qualifications:
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- BLS required; ACLS preferred for telemetry/PCU
- Clinical experience in med-surg, telemetry, or progressive care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients, including regular vital signs and focused assessments
- Safely administer medications, treatments, and interventions per orders
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status; escalate per protocol
- Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
