Locums CRNA — Ocala, FL: High-Acuity Cardiac/Neuro/Trauma Cases, Flexible Schedule & Call

Join a busy, high-acuity surgical team in Ocala, FL, as a Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. You’ll work with a diverse case mix in a collaborative environment, enjoy flexible scheduling options, and have the option to participate in call.

Schedule and Shift Details

• Full-time availability required.
• Typical weekday shifts are 14 hours (13-hour shifts may be considered).
• Greatest need on Mondays and Fridays; weekend coverage is required.
• Call participation is preferred but not mandatory. When scheduled, expect about 2 call shifts every 6 weeks:
  • One weekday call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • One weekend day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Case Mix
You’ll manage a wide variety of adult surgical cases, including:

• Cardiac, vascular, and trauma
• Orthopedics and robotics
• General surgery, neurosurgery, and GYN
• Endoscopy
  Note: No pediatrics and no OB cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care across a broad spectrum of surgical procedures.
• Perform regional blocks, spinals, and place central and arterial lines as needed.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR teams to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida CRNA license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Trauma experience is required.
• Proven proficiency with regional blocks, spinals, and line placement.
