Overview
Locum tenens opportunity in Lewisburg, PA covering nights at a 135-bed acute care hospital. Coverage begins 06/08/2026 and is ongoing. Clinical shifts are four nights per week, 3:00 PM–7:00 AM. No call required.

Patient population & case mix
Care for patients of all ages with variable daily volume depending on anesthetizing location. Case mix includes vascular, OB/GYN, general surgery, GI, pediatrics, plastics, orthopedics (high-volume), robotics, and urology.

Facility & support
Hospital-based practice using Epic EMR. Standard anesthesia and surgical equipment available. CRNA support with a 1:3 CRNA-to-room ratio. Position provides ongoing supplemental coverage.

Privileges & credentialing
Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available for candidates with a clean file. Typical credentialing timeline is ~90 days; expedited credentialing available for qualified candidates.

Required skills & procedures
Proficiency in regional/nerve block anesthesia (including ultrasound-guided techniques), spinal anesthesia, and MAC. Comfort performing regional blocks for high-volume orthopedic cases is essential.

Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification. Board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology. ACLS and PALS required. Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred. Ability to work night shifts.

Responsibilities
Provide patient-centered anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties. Perform regional and nerve block procedures for orthopedic and other cases. Collaborate with CRNAs, surgeons, and OR staff to deliver safe, efficient care. Document and manage patients using Epic.
