Join a team in Tucson, AZ (85741) as a locum tenens Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner providing inpatient clinical coverage. You’ll work 12-hour rotating shifts (7a–7p and 7p–7a) starting June 1, 2026, with an ongoing coverage period. Expect to manage an average of 8–10 patients per day with assigned rounding responsibilities in an ICU setting.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver hands-on clinical care in the ICU, following facility protocols and documentation standards.
• Cover both day and night 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.
• Coordinate care with a small support team (one PA/NP) and document in Cerner.

Requirements

• Active Arizona NP license and DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Documentation of CCNP training, board certifications, and any other required credentials.
• Complete all credentialing and enrollment paperwork before your start date.
