Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00–17:00
Call: 1:4 hospital beeper call; weekly Fri 07:30–Fri 07:30; 30-minute response time

Core responsibilities

• Provide full-time hematology/oncology clinical coverage in clinic and hospital.
• Round daily on acute leukemia and inpatient chemotherapy patients.
• Supervise chemotherapy administration for assigned patients.
• Perform bone marrow biopsies as required.
• Handle phone consults (approx. 5–10/day) and participate in shared weekday clinic call for add-on consults and chemo supervision.

Patient volume and case mix

• Average daily volume: ~15 patients/day
• Case mix: acute leukemia, inpatient chemotherapy patients

Facility and support

• EMR: Cerner
• Support staff available: RNs, MAs, PA/NPs, office staff
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available

Requirements

• Hematology/Oncology fellowship required
• Board certified or board eligible
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
• Must use real-time mobile time clock (preferably GPS-enabled)
