Join a hospital-based Otolaryngology team in Chambersburg, PA, providing inpatient and outpatient coverage. This locum tenens assignment supplements existing services with clinical duties and 24-hour beeper/on-site call.
Schedule and Coverage
- Coverage period begins 07/10/2026 and is ongoing
- Required shifts:
- 07/10 (07:00) – 07/15 (07:00)
- 07/22 (07:00) – 07/29 (07:00)
- 08/07 (07:00) – 08/10 (07:00)
- Primary responsibility: 24-hour call coverage with occasional weekday clinic hours
- Call type: beeper/on-site
Clinical Scope and Volume
- Patient population: neonatal through geriatric (0 months–99 years)
- Daily patient volume: approximately 25–30 patients
- Responsibilities: inpatient and outpatient ENT care, operative ENT procedures, and on-call coverage
Facility and Systems
- Facility: acute care hospital with 275 beds, Trauma Level III
- Practice setting: hospital and clinic
- EMR: EPIC
- Hospital privileges: available; temporary privileges available with a clean file
Logistics and Support
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
Requirements
- BC/BE in Otolaryngology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC LOQ only
- DEA registration required
- Candidate must be willing to provide call coverage; no additional state licensing assistance offered
