Job Description
We are seeking a Physician Assistant for a full-time locum assignment beginning in October 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative cardiology team in a primarily outpatient setting with limited inpatient consult responsibilities.
Overview
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Estimated 20 shifts per month
- No call required
- EMR: Epic
- Primarily outpatient cardiology clinic
- Some inpatient consults as needed
- Average patient volume: Up to 12 patients per day
- No clinic responsibilities on days assigned to inpatient consults
Responsibilities
- Provide general cardiology care in an outpatient setting
- Evaluate and manage patients independently
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff
- Perform inpatient consults as needed
Requirements
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Active Ohio state license
- DEA and CSR required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Prior cardiology experience preferred
