Locums Outpatient Cardiology Physician — Fellowship-Trained, 4–5 Days/Wk, $330/hr (Redding, CA)

We’re looking for a fellowship-trained cardiologist to provide outpatient coverage in Redding, CA for a 6+ month locum assignment starting in late June or early July. This role is ideal for a cardiologist who wants a predictable outpatient schedule, collaborative colleagues, and no inpatient or procedural responsibilities.

Compensation: $330 per hour

Assignment details

• Start: End of June / Early July
• Length: 6+ months
• Schedule: Full-time, 4–5 days per week
• Hours:
  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Setting: 100% outpatient
• EMR: Cerner
• Average patient volume: ~20 patients/day

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive general cardiology care in an outpatient setting
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult cardiology patients
• Perform follow-up visits, consultations, and ongoing cardiac care management
• Document care accurately and promptly in the EMR
• No inpatient coverage, admissions, or invasive procedures required

Qualifications

• Cardiology fellowship completed
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Active California medical license preferred
