Locum OBGYN Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant — Labor & Delivery (Milford, MA)

Join a respected medical center in Milford, MA to provide Labor & Delivery coverage in a collaborative women’s health setting with strong on-site physician support. This locum opportunity offers a varied clinical scope and the chance to work closely with an experienced laborist team.

Compensation: $100 per hour

Assignment details:

• Approximately 12–15 shifts per month (about 40 hours/week)
• Typical schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift options:
  • Day: 7:00 AM – 8:15 PM
  • Night: 7:00 PM – 8:15 AM
• Rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• EMR: Epic
• Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

Clinical responsibilities:

• Manage labor and deliveries as part of the laborist team
• Perform and assist with C-sections, repair of episiotomies, and GYN surgical cases when available
• Conduct patient rounding, triage evaluations, and discharges
• Provide comprehensive women’s health care within the Labor & Delivery unit
• Typical patient volume: 10–20 patients per day
• Collaborate each shift with one laborist and one APP; physician support is always on site

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts license
• Active DEA and CSR
• Experience in Labor & Delivery and women’s health
• Comfortable managing deliveries and assisting with obstetric procedures
