We’re seeking a Radiation Oncology locum tenens physician to provide supplemental outpatient coverage in Russellville, AR. The role starts ASAP and is ongoing, with clinical-only responsibilities Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch). You can expect a patient volume around 30 per day.
Clinical scope includes external beam therapy using a linear accelerator (RapidArc/VMAT and electrons) and a full range of techniques: conventional/conformal therapy, IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT. Treatment planning responsibilities cover conventional planning, beam shaping with MLC, 3D CRT, IMRT, PET/CT or MRI image fusion, and electronic portal imaging. The facility is a Level III trauma center and uses Athena and Meditech for EMR.
Hospital privileges are required. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Requirements:
- Active Arkansas medical license
- BC/BE in Radiation Oncology
- BLS certification
