Coverage periods:

- September 3–9, 2026
Shift schedule: - Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Thurs–Wed block coverage
- Opportunity for PRN shifts
Clinical duties:
- Provide general medical care for hospitalized adult patients
- Admit, evaluate, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Perform daily rounding and treatment planning
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with PCPs
- Respond to patient questions and manage inpatient treatment plans
Patient load and unit info:
- Estimated patient ratio: 1:10–15
- Patient population: acutely ill adults with a wide variety of conditions
- Unit staffing: 1 physician, 1 NP, 1 LPN
- Medication system: Pyxis
- Charting: Epic
Requirements:
- Board certification required
- Active NY medical license required
- Minimum 2 years recent hospitalist experience
- AHA BLS and ACLS required
- DEA required
- Epic experience required

- SAFE Designated Center
