Seeking a Locum Tenens Vascular Surgeon to provide supplemental inpatient and outpatient coverage in Springfield, MO. Coverage begins May 22, 2026 and will continue on an ongoing basis. Schedule: call-only coverage (beeper) with 24-hour shifts, approximately two weeks per month; 30-minute call response time. Typical workload: 3–6 phone consults, about 10 patients, and roughly 1 admission per shift. Duties include open and endovascular procedures, general vascular and peripheral cases, and placement of vascular access devices. Rounding is required.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team that includes 5 APPs, 2 RNs, 5 MAs, and 6 office staff. The department has 10 beds and operates within a Level I trauma center. EMR: Epic. Hospital privileges are required.
Compensation package includes travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance. Requirements: active Missouri license or participation in the IMLC, board certification, BLS and ACLS.
