Job Description
We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for onsite locum coverage in Indiana. The immediate need begins ASAP, with ongoing weekend coverage opportunities through the end of the year.
Providers will primarily focus on IR procedures with little to no diagnostic radiology responsibilities.
IR Case Mix & Responsibilities
- Approximately up to 15 procedures daily
- IR-only workload
- Cases include:
- Nephrostomy tubes
- Basic lines
- Biopsies
- Drainages
Advanced Service Lines
Providers may also encounter or support procedures including:
- Venous disease interventions
- Embolization procedures
- PE/DVT thrombectomy & lysis
- IVC filter placement and removal
- Vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, sacroplasty, osteocool
- TIPS placement and revisions
- Dialysis access and fistula interventions
- Peripheral arterial interventions and EVAR
- Interventional oncology procedures including Y-90, chemoembolization, and ablations
The group is supportive of expanding service lines and welcomes physicians with specialized procedural interests.
Call & Support
- Variable callback volume
- Preferred call response time:
- Within 30 minutes of the facility
- Typically the sole IR physician onsite
- No PA/APP support currently available
