**Full-time Thoracic Surgeon**
**Location: Baltimore, Maryland**
**Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery & Thoracic Surgery**
• Opportunity to practice across multiple hospital campuses and outpatient clinic locations throughout the Baltimore region
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care with a broad range of thoracic surgery cases, including open, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures
• Collaborative practice environment with support from advanced practice providers, residents, nurse navigators, and allied health professionals
• Shared multisite practice model offering flexibility in shaping clinical responsibilities and case mix
• Thoracic call responsibilities limited to assigned and unassigned thoracic patients with resident and APP first-call coverage support
• Access to advanced surgical technology including robotic-assisted surgery platforms, minimally invasive surgical equipment, and ION robotic technology
• Strong referral network and integrated collaboration with pulmonology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, gastroenterology, interventional radiology, hospitalists, and surgical subspecialties
• Opportunity to contribute to program growth, innovation, quality improvement initiatives, and lung screening/nodule programs with nurse navigator and AI database support
• Active teaching involvement with an ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency Program
• Opportunities for academic involvement, mentorship, faculty appointment, and participation in clinical and resident research projects
• Collaborative educational relationships with leading regional academic and trauma institutions
• Practice affiliated with a Level II Trauma Center recognized for excellence in trauma care
Qualifications:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery
• Strong clinical experience in minimally invasive and robotic thoracic procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative team skills
• Academic and teaching experience preferred
• Interest in program development and clinical innovation encouraged
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive salary range of $400,000–$550,000 based on experience plus production incentives
