Join a busy outpatient family medicine practice in Cumming, GA for locum tenens coverage (ASAP–Sep 30, 2026). This clinical-only assignment is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, providing supplemental coverage. Travel, lodging, and malpractice are covered by the agency.
Practice details
- Setting: Outpatient primary care (all ages)
- Typical daily volume: ~20 patients
- EMR: Epic
- Support team: 1 RN, 2 MAs, 1 APP, 3 administrative staff
Requirements
- Board certified (BC) in Family Medicine
- Active Georgia medical license
- BLS certification
- Credentialing turnaround: ~21 days
- Hospital privileges: not required; temporary privileges not available
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan
- Document accurately and promptly in Epic per facility standards
- Collaborate with RNs, MAs, and PA/NP colleagues to support clinical workflows
- Fulfill scheduled Monday–Friday clinical duties and maintain required documentation
