Child/Adolescent Medical Director
Location: Kansas City Metro Area
Hours: Full-time, On-site
Compensation: 50th-75th MGMA Salary, based on experience
 
POSITION OVERVIEW:
A Child & Adolescent group in the Kansas City (KS) metro has an opening for a Medical Director to help further evolve and guide its growth due to demand. We are seeking a player-coach that maintains clinical involvement to identify areas for improvement and can develop strategies for team implementation.

  • Develop QI initiatives and efficiency protocols
  • Protected admin time
  • Report directly to Chief Medical Officer
  • University of Kansas affiliate; academic title optional
  • 50th-75th MGMA Salary, based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide quality-driven care for Child and Adolescent population.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage ongoing treatment for a diverse patient demographic.
  • Guide, collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of MAs, Nurses, LCSWs, and Techs.
  • Identify quality, efficacy, and efficiency improvements for continuous, patient care enhancements.
  • Work alongside Chief Medical Officer to marry the facility’s objectives with clinical strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in KS required or ability to obtain.
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
