Seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician for a locum tenens position in Antigo, WI. This role provides combined inpatient and outpatient clinical coverage with call responsibilities, beginning June 1, 2026 and ongoing. Agency covers travel, lodging, and malpractice.

Schedule and Coverage

• Regular: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• On-call: one weekend per month (Fri–Sun) 7:00 AM–7:00 AM and one weekday per week 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Call type: beeper; response time: 30 minutes
• Coverage type: clinical + call
• Reason: scheduling need

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in outpatient clinics and manage inpatient care as needed
• OB management including well-woman care, prenatal care, vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Provide call coverage for primary care, pediatrics, and newborns; perform rounding on newborns and pediatric patients
• Newborn care and resuscitation through age 30 days; care for infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents

Preferred and Required Procedures

• Required: well-woman care, prenatal care, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, newborn care/resuscitation, general outpatient and inpatient procedures
• Preferred: VBAC, instrument-assisted deliveries, ultrasounds

Qualifications & Facility

• Board-certified in Family Medicine (BC required)
• NRP certification required
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available
