Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician — Inpatient Obstetrics (Bellefontaine, OH)

Join a busy inpatient OB/GYN team in Bellefontaine, OH as a locum tenens clinician providing supplemental clinical coverage plus call. Coverage begins May 25 and is ongoing. Shifts are 24-hour call starting at 7:00 a.m.; coverage needed May 25 (7:00 a.m.) and May 26 (7:00 a.m.). Typical patient volume is 25–30 patients, with an average of about one delivery per day (≈365/year).

You’ll be part of a four-physician practice supported by APPs and nursing staff. The service handles a full range of obstetrics including low-risk pregnancy management, fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds with interpretation and Level I/screening (viability), routine labor & delivery, vaginal deliveries (including low forceps), and management of complicated deliveries (breech, multiples, abruptions). You’ll also perform repairs of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations. Approximately 30% of the practice is C-sections.
