Job Description

Hospital-based Cardiology NP/PA role; inpatient rounding and consult service
-
Manage inpatient consults, follow-ups, and pre/post-procedure care for interventional patients
-
Coordinate care with hospitalists and primary care providers
-
Supervised by cardiologist; not part of STEMI team; no cath lab scrubbing
-
Schedule: three 10-hour weekdays plus rotating weekend day coverage every 4th weekend
-
Training available for supervision of cardiac stress tests
-
Requires MA NP/PA license, DEA, and controlled substance registration
-
Experience with cardiac diagnoses, procedures, and medications; cath patient experience preferred

EMR use required (Epic, eClinicalWorks)

Employed position with health insurance, malpractice, 401k, CME allowance, and PTO; compensation based on experience

Coastal New England setting near Providence waterfront, Cape Cod beaches, and Newport harbor attractions
-
~20 miles to Providence (~25 min), ~50 miles to Boston (~45"60 min), ~30 miles to Cape Cod and Newport (~30"40 min)
