Travel RN CVICU (Days) New Lenox, IL Contract (12-hr Days, Every Other Weekend)

We’re looking for an experienced CVICU RN to join a team in New Lenox, IL on a contract/travel basis starting 05/18/2026. This is a day-shift assignment with 12-hour shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and a pay rate of $2,448 per 36 hours.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing high-acuity care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• Managing post‑op open-heart patients and supporting thoracic, vascular, and interventional cases as needed
• Working with the care team to monitor, assess, and intervene for critically ill cardiac patients

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience, including open‑heart care
• Prior experience with Cerner is strongly preferred
• Thoracic, vascular, and interventional experience preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (ACLS listed twice in original; ACLS required)
• NIHSS certification preferred

Licensure and health requirements:

• Active Illinois RN license (a copy from your agency will be required)
• COVID and flu vaccinations required
