Night Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) — Contract/Travel, Flint MI (12-hr Nights)

Join a team in Flint, MI as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist on a contract/travel assignment starting 06/15/2026. This is a night shift position (12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM) with a schedule that includes every third weekend coverage or occasional weekends as needed to fill gaps. The contract rate is $1,397 per 36 hours.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory testing in a fast-paced hospital lab.
• Maintain quality control, document results, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and follow established laboratory procedures and safety standards.

• Start date: 06/15/2026
• Location: Flint, MI
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM–6:30 AM)
• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend or as needed to cover gaps

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/MLS
• ASCP certification (or equivalent)
