Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Waldorf, MD | 13-Week Contract, $1,548/36-hr

We’re looking for a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join a team in Waldorf, MD on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Pay: Travel: $1,548 per 36 hours; Local: $1,526 per 36 hours.

Must-have:

• Valid, active PTA state license.

What you’ll do:

• Work alongside the Physical Therapist to review patient histories, assist with evaluations, and help set meaningful goals.
• Deliver prescribed interventions and exercise programs to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Use therapeutic equipment and modalities as directed to support patient recovery.
• Teach patients (and their families, when appropriate) home exercise programs and safe techniques to aid ongoing progress.
• Keep clear, timely documentation of treatments and patient progress.
• Coordinate with the PT and the rest of the healthcare team to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care.
• Follow safety and infection-control policies to maintain a clean, safe therapy environment.
• Offer encouragement and emotional support to help patients stay motivated through their rehabilitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
