Type: Contract (Non-Travel) — 9 weeks
Start: ASAP
Schedule: Daily rotation — 06:00 AM–02:30 PM (Sun–Sat)
Rate: $1,244 per 40 hours (local)

Required credentials

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
  • BLS certification

Core responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction: medication administration, wound care, vital signs, and basic treatments.
  • Conduct patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately, following orders and facility protocols.
  • Manage wounds/incisions: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor for infection or complications.
  • Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition; maintain accurate patient records.
  • Insert, maintain, and monitor IV lines; administer and observe IV medications/fluids as indicated.
  • Provide urinary catheter care (insertion, maintenance, monitoring for complications).
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self-care, and preventive measures.
  • Assist with patient comfort, mobility, positioning, and basic pain management.
  • Respond to emergencies per protocol and provide basic life support when needed.
  • Follow infection control policies, including hand hygiene and appropriate PPE use.
  • Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies per regulations.
  • Advocate for patients’ rights and collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
  • May supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel as assigned.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
