Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Middletown, RI (14Week Contract)

Join a supportive team in Middletown, RI for a 14-week contract starting ASAP. This position follows a full-week schedule (Sun–Sat) from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation is competitive: Travel pay $1,876/35-hours or Local pay $1,848/35-hours.

What we’re looking for

• An active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

What you’ll do
You’ll provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. That means performing clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to identify the type and severity of difficulties, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, comprehension, expression, and safe swallowing. You’ll also support the use of AAC when appropriate and coach patients and families in strategies and home exercises to reinforce progress.

How you’ll work

• Regularly document assessments, plans, and progress notes and adjust treatment based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Help patients generalize improved communication skills into daily life, school, or work settings.
• Stay current in the field through ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
