Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — Brooklyn Park, MD | $1,775/35-hr, ASAP 13-Week Contract

Join a 13-week contract/travel assignment in Brooklyn Park, MD, starting ASAP. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel $1,775/35 hours; Local $1,750/35 hours.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED-certified).

Core responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental needs to identify limitations and establish measurable goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve functional independence and daily living skills.
• Recommend, fit, and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Provide hands-on instruction and practice for activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs to enhance safety and independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on condition management, safety strategies, and community reintegration.
• Monitor, document, and modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and progress notes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to support seamless transitions back to home, school, or work.
• Stay current with professional standards and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
