Schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM (36 hours/week)
Rate: Travel: $2,308/36 hrs; Local: $2,275/36 hrs
Requirements:
- Valid, active state license for Speech-Language Pathology
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing
- Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing impairments
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies
- Recommend and provide training in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as appropriate
- Educate patients and families on therapy strategies, home exercises, and carryover techniques
- Monitor, document, and report patient progress; revise treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, therapists, educators) to coordinate care
- Facilitate generalization of communication skills to daily life, school, or work settings
- Participate in professional development to maintain current practice standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
