Rate: Travel: $2,308/36 hrs; Local: $2,275/36 hrs

Requirements:

• Valid, active state license for Speech-Language Pathology

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing
• Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing impairments
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies
• Recommend and provide training in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as appropriate
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies, home exercises, and carryover techniques
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress; revise treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, therapists, educators) to coordinate care
• Facilitate generalization of communication skills to daily life, school, or work settings
• Participate in professional development to maintain current practice standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
