Join a dynamic healthcare team in Seaford, DE as a contract Occupational Therapist. This 14-week assignment begins ASAP with a regular schedule of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel pay $1,995/35-hours; Local pay $1,967/35-hours.
Requirements:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy state license
- CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED)
Core responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental needs to identify functional limitations and establish measurable goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary care team
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, independence, and community/work reintegration
- Recommend, train in, and monitor use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Provide hands-on instruction and practice of daily living skills; educate patients and families on condition management and independence strategies
- Continuously evaluate and document patient progress; modify plans of care as clinical needs change
- Maintain accurate clinical records including evaluations, treatment notes, and outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and ongoing professional development
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
