Schedule: 06:30 AM–07:00 PM
Rate: Travel $1,724/36 hrs; Local $1,699/36 hrs
Profession: Respiratory Therapist
Required credentials:
- Valid, active state Respiratory Therapy license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Key responsibilities:
- Assess respiratory status (lung function, oxygenation) and review medical history
- Develop individualized respiratory care plans
- Administer respiratory treatments to improve lung function and relieve distress
- Manage and titrate mechanical ventilators and related devices
- Respond to respiratory emergencies according to protocols
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment, and self-care
- Maintain, clean, and verify functionality of respiratory equipment
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Adhere to infection control, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
