Rate: Travel: $1,383/35-hours; Local: $1,362/35-hours
Required:
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license
Core responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
- Collaborate on and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide interventions and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Instruct patients in use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Document treatments, patient progress, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Train patients and families on home exercise programs and discharge plans.
- Communicate regularly with the OT and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- Follow safety and infection-control protocols.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
